Honestly, warming up fruit seems like a waste of time. It can change the taste and make the juice bitter. Cold citrus gives a fresher flavor that's better for drinks. Plus, who wants to wait for a microwave when you can just roll it on the counter? Old school methods work fine without messing with the fruit's natural state.

My bartender friend does 10 seconds in the microwave. He says it gets way more juice out. I thought it was dumb until I saw the results.

Microwaving citrus actually helps a lot. I tried it and got way more juice out. Now I use this trick whenever I make drinks.
