Got a $75 parking ticket on Belmont Ave and found out the appeal window was only 3 weeks
I parked near the Whole Foods on Belmont Ave last Tuesday for maybe 10 minutes to grab a prescription and came back to a ticket on my windshield. I figured I had plenty of time to fight it, but when I actually read the fine print, the city only gives you 21 days to request a hearing before the late fee kicks in. I filed online that same night and got a hearing date for next month, but a buddy of mine waited too long on a similar ticket and ended up paying $110 instead. Has anyone actually won one of these by mail, and did you need photos of the sign or anything?
