Hit 120 parking ticket appeals in 8 months, the 71st one broke me

I started tracking every ticket appeal I filed with the city last January after my fourth one in a week. The pattern I noticed is that most wins come from clerical errors, not arguing the law, like missing signatures or wrong zone codes. But ticket 71 was the one that surprised me, it was for a spot I had a valid permit for, photo proof and all, and they still denied it twice. That was the milestone where I realized the system feels random, not fair, and I stopped assuming logic plays any part. Has anyone else hit a number where you just gave up on the process and paid the fine instead?

Ha! I gave up at ticket 23 and just started parking in the middle of the street.

Isn't that gonna get you towed way faster than a ticket though?
