My parking ticket dispute turned into a 3 hour court saga over a missing apostrophe

Got a ticket for parking in a 'no parkin zone' outside Wrigley last month. The sign literally said 'parkin' not 'parking'. I thought I was slick, so I fought it with photos. Judge looks at me and goes 'the ordinance says parking, the sign says parkin, that's a typo not a loophole'. Still had to pay $75 and lost 2 hours of my day. Has anyone actually won a ticket on a technicality like this in Chicago, or am I just the dummy?
