Should tenants have to pay for a lawyer when LL wins in eviction court? Hit 30 days of back rent
My landlord took me to court over $2,400 in back rent, I lost after 30 days of missed payments, and now they want me to cover their $500 attorney fee too, but Chicago's ordinance caps that at $250 so which side is actually fair here and has anyone else fought that charge?
