Took 6 tries to get my parking ticket dismissed, here's what finally worked
Back in March I got a ticket in Bridgeport for parking in a zone I swear had no sign. I figured contesting it would be a quick online form thing, easy. Nope. First attempt got bounced because I uploaded the photos sideways, whatever. Second try, they said my hearing request was filed too late even though I had the confirmation email. Third time, I actually showed up to the hearing and the admin guy told me the wrong room. Fourth and fifth were virtual resets due to 'technical issues' on their end. Finally on try six, I brought printed screenshots of the street view from Google Maps showing the missing sign, plus a photo of the actual curb from that day. Got it dismissed in maybe 10 minutes once I was in front of the right person. The whole saga ran from March to July, four months for a $75 ticket. Has anyone else had success with a specific document or trick that got the city to drop their case faster? I feel like I need to write a guide for the next person stuck in this loop.

Shaking my head at that sideways photo thing, that alone would've made me rage quit after round one. You got way more patience than the system deserves, four months for a ticket that took 10 minutes to fix once someone actually listened.
