Vent: My landlord in Logan Square said my security deposit was gone because of 'normal wear and tear'...
He pointed at a tiny scuff on the baseboard from a chair and claimed it was damage. I had photos from move-in day showing it was already there. Has anyone else had to fight for their deposit back in Chicago and won?

Ever feel like landlords just make stuff up? I'd be so bad at that, I'd probably try to charge for dust. Show him your photos and maybe do what @jennifer_jones17's friend did.
