A customer in Boise asked me if I ever find anything good in a chimney
I laughed and said mostly just old nests and soot, but then he said, 'My grandpa found a gold pocket watch in a flue in 1978.' It made me look at every pile of debris a little differently now. Anyone ever pulled out something truly wild besides the usual junk?

Honestly that story would mess with my head too. Now you're gonna be poking through every ash pile like it's some kind of treasure hunt. Tbh the weirdest thing I ever heard of was a buddy pulling out a sealed jar full of old teeth, which is just horrifying. Makes the usual dead birds seem almost nice by comparison. Guess you never know what people decide to stash up there.

Oh man, a jar of teeth is a new one. I found a tiny dried up mummified mouse in a wall once and that was bad enough. Honestly the best thing I did was just get a good headlamp and some thick gloves, makes you feel less freaked out poking around. You just gotta laugh it off or you'll never finish the job.

Yeah jessem59, that jar of teeth story is next level creepy. Makes you wonder about the history behind finds like that. Honestly the weirdest stuff always seems to come out of attics and old walls.
