Yeah, it's the same with small appliances. My new toaster died in three months lol.

That's the standard now, total junk disguised as a tool. Feels like everything is built to fail right after the warranty. Makes you wonder why we even bother buying new stuff.

Maybe it depends on the brand. My old drill is still going strong after ten years.
