Dual brush rods vs single rods for tall chimneys

Fixed a four story flue last week and brought both setups. Single rods kept bending and binding up every time I hit a tight spot. Swapped to the dual rod system a year ago and it clears stuff way faster. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference on those narrow chimney liners?

Dual rods flex too much for my liking on really long drops.

Man that reminds me of when my buddy tried using a single rod on a 100ft drop and the line just snapped halfway down. He was so mad he threw the whole reel in the lake. Dual rods feel wobbly but at least they don't snap like that.

Wait, do you really notice that much wobble on the long drops? I always thought a little flex was better than snapping clean off.
