Got some blunt feedback on my creosote removal method
Honestly, a homeowner in Springfield told me last month that my brush work was 'just moving the gunk around' after I finished. I was using a standard poly brush on a really heavy buildup. Tbh, I switched to a rotary loop system for those jobs and it cuts through in half the time. Anyone else find the loop heads work better on thick deposits?

Loop heads are a total game changer for that heavy buildup.

My old boss in Toledo made us use poly brushes for everything. I mean, you're just fighting a losing battle with that hard, glazed creosote. The loops actually grab and pull it out in chunks. Switched last year and my callbacks for redos dropped to almost zero. It's not even close for those bad jobs.

Yeah, that homeowner wasn't wrong about just moving it. The stiff loops on a rotary system actually scrape and break up the thick stuff instead of smearing it. Makes cleanup way more real.
