Roof brush head sheared off 20 feet up in Council Bluffs

Halfway through a two story job last Thursday my rod snapped right at the brush and the whole thing clattered down onto the driveway. Customer came out asking if that was supposed to happen while I was still standing there holding a bent rod like an idiot. Any of you keep a spare head in the truck or am I the only one who learns this the hard way?
