Saw a thumbnail saying 'this $12 tool fixes everything' and I laughed, then I bought it at Harbor Freight and now I feel dumb
Ok so I need to vent. Last Saturday I'm scrolling and this video pops up with a guy holding some little clamp thing, big red arrows, face going like this is the discovery of fire. Title was like 'STOP WASTING MONEY, THIS $12 FIX CHANGES EVERYTHING.' I sent it to my brother with the crying laughing emoji. Made fun of it for a solid 10 minutes.
Anyway Tuesday I'm at Harbor Freight for zip ties and I see the exact thing on the shelf for $11.99. Figured why not, worst case I'm out twelve bucks and I get to send him a picture of it in the trash.
I used it on a stripped bolt on my mower deck and the thing actually grabbed it. Then I used it on a hose clamp, then some PVC. It's been living in my back pocket since.
So now I gotta ask the court, is this a real verdict or did the thumbnail just get lucky with me? What's the last one you mocked and then ended up buying? I cant be the first person this has happened to, right?
