The thumbnail said 'Shock proof iPhone case' and I dropped it from 6 feet
I saw this YouTube ad with a guy dropping his phone off a ladder onto concrete, so I bought the $30 case. Tried it myself off my porch in Austin and the screen cracked on the first drop lol. Turns out the video used a different phone inside the case and mine was just a cheap shell. Anyone else fall for those gadget demo tricks on YouTube?

Ugh that's so ANNOYING. Did you at least try to get your money back?

Oh wow, that's just terrible. @jenny_lee I honestly can't believe they wouldn't offer a refund or a fix right away. Did they even give you a reason why they couldn't help? Failing that, I would have tried reaching out to their customer service again or leaving a bad review online. It's so frustrating when companies don't stand behind their products, especially with something so small and breakable. Hope you at least got a replacement or something in the end.

Did you ever look into if they had a warranty? I remember reading somewhere that some of these little gadgets come with like a 30-day thing but only if you register them online. Might be worth checking your order confirmation email or their site again. It's crazy how often they hide that stuff in the fine print.
