Vent: My coast trip showed me electric car rentals are getting common
I just drove along the coast and rented an electric car for the whole week. In my experience, this was a big change from a few years back when options were limited. Every small town I passed had at least one charging spot, which made the trip easy. I met other travelers who chose electric cars to lower their carbon footprint. Your mileage may vary, but it felt like a practical way to travel cleaner. This shift might seem small, but if more folks adopt it, it could add up. Take this with a grain of salt, but I hope this trend keeps growing.

Every hotel had a charger?

My friend Mark rented a Tesla in Santa Cruz last month. He said every hotel he stayed at had a charger he could use overnight. Made the whole trip way simpler than he thought.

I used to worry about finding chargers on road trips too. But hearing about your friend Mark's experience in Santa Cruz, @aaron_cooper, really shifted my view. If every hotel he stopped at had a plug, that's a game changer. It means you can just arrive, connect, and wake up ready to go. That takes so much planning stress out of the trip.
