Vent: My neighbor in Phoenix just asked me about my solar panels
I was outside yesterday and my neighbor, Frank, walked over and pointed at my roof, asking how much my electric bill dropped since I got the panels installed six months ago. I told him it went from about $180 to $30 in the summer, and his whole face just lit up like he'd found a secret. Has anyone else had a simple chat like that actually get a friend to look into making a change?

Watched my brother-in-law finally get a quote after seeing my tiny power bill last month.

Honestly, it's crazy how much that real proof matters. Tbh my cousin only looked into it after he saw my dad's electric car charging for basically nothing all summer. It's like people need to see the math work for someone they know before it clicks. That first tiny bill is such a game changer.

My neighbor's bill dropped by sixty bucks after his panels went live. That kind of proof is way better than any sales pitch. People need to see the real numbers to get over the sticker shock. It's always the same story, someone finally makes the call after seeing a friend's statement.
