I finally saw the light on coolant recycling after a messy spill

That spill was a wake-up call on our waste. Skipping coolant recycling is just lazy and costly.

Was it one of those spills that gets into everything and you're finding little oily spots for days? That's when you realize a proper recycling setup isn't just about being green... it saves you from the huge headache of cleaning up hazardous waste yourself. A good shop will test your old coolant, clean out all the contaminants, and give you back a batch that meets spec. It turns a total mess into a closed loop so it literally can't spill like that again.

Ugh, nothing like finding those little shiny reminders of your mistake for weeks after. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Totally feel that, had a similar mess in my old shop van. That stuff gets into every crack and you're slipping on it for a month, lmao. Sending it out to be cleaned up and reused just makes the whole job way less of a nightmare. Once you get the system down, you're not constantly buying new jugs and dealing with the disposal panic.

Is it really that much more expensive to just buy new?
