Am I the only one who learned coding without instant feedback?
When I began, you wrote code and ran it later to see if it worked. Today, programs highlight mistakes right away. Is getting help this fast good for learning how to fix errors?

I mean I used to think the old way built more patience, but honestly the instant stuff helped me learn faster. Idk, maybe seeing the mistake right when you make it just clicks better.

Nah, I'm sticking with the old school way here. Instant feedback just teaches you to fix that one mistake, not really understand the whole process. You learn a lot more when you have to sit and figure out where you went wrong by yourself.

Wait, but what if you just learn to fix that one mistake and then move on? You don't really dig into why it was wrong in the first place. It's like getting the answer without doing the work. That doesn't build the kind of deep understanding that sticks with you later.
