Debate with my cousin over using tutorials vs reading docs first
My cousin builds small apps for fun and says I should just copy along with a YouTube tutorial when I get stuck. But last week I spent 2 hours following one for a to-do list and ended up more confused than when I started. Then I read the official docs on the same framework and it clicked in like 15 minutes. He thinks tutorials teach real workflows, I think they skip the WHY behind everything. Which side worked better for you all when you first started out?
