I spent $40 on a Python course and it was the best money I ever wasted

The real win is when you start solving actual problems with it. My course felt useless until I automated a boring task at work. That moment when the code finally runs is pure magic. The money isn't wasted if it clicks for you later. It's an investment that pays off with practice.

Totally get what you mean about that magic feeling. Something people don't talk about enough is how that first win changes your brain. You stop seeing problems as walls and start seeing them as puzzles you might actually solve. It shifts from "I have to learn this" to "I can use this." That mindset flip is the real prize, way more than just saving time on one task.

Seriously, that first project you build makes it all worth it.
