My code broke during a live demo last week and I actually learned more from that than the whole course

I was showing my group project to the class last Tuesday and suddenly the login form just stopped working right in the middle of my demo. No error messages, just a blank screen. I panicked for like 30 seconds before I remembered I had a backup saved from the night before. I ended up explaining the bug fix step by step while reloading the old version and the teacher said that was the best debugging lesson he'd seen all semester. Has anyone else had a crash turn into a teachable moment like that?

Dude that's rough but honestly those are the moments you actually learn from. Nothing teaches you about proper backup habits like having one save you in front of the whole class. Did you at least get an A for the recovery?
