Shoutout to the missing semicolon that ate my whole Saturday

I was on lesson 4 of a free JavaScript course at my kitchen table in Dayton when my code just stopped working and the console pointed at line 30 with no real answer. I finally found one missing semicolon after 2 hours of staring, so how do you all debug when you have no clue what to even look for?
