That $45 SQL course on Udemy actually got me my first data entry job
I bought a discounted SQL basics course last March because I was tired of copy pasting stuff into spreadsheets at my old warehouse job. The instructor used real examples like sorting inventory lists and pulling monthly totals, which clicked for me way faster than the free YouTube videos I tried before. Cost me $45 during a sale, and three months later I used one of those practice queries in an interview for a junior data role in Columbus. I got the job, and honestly the course paid for itself by week two of training. Has anyone else dropped money on a beginner coding course and seen an actual return, or do you think free resources are just as good now?
