Appreciation post: The comic book rack at Half Price Books in Austin

I used to think digging through a messy longbox was the only real way to find deals on old floppies. But last weekend I visited the Half Price Books on Lamar and they had a whole spinning rack of 50 cent comics sorted by character. It was so easy to flip through and grab a stack of 90s X-Men issues for 5 bucks total. Has anyone else found a spot that makes browsing actually fun instead of a chore?

I heard they actually organize them alphabetically now at that location.

Wait, LIKE FINALLY alphabetically?? After all the years of just throwing books on shelves based on vibes?? I cannot believe they actually gave up and did the normal thing. That place must have gotten a new manager or something because that is a WILD change from how it used to be.

Last time I was there they had a whole section of "M" authors mixed in with the "P" ones, like someone gave up halfway through. So alphabetical would be a massive upgrade from whatever chaos system they had before (probably the Dewey Decimal System of Disorganization). I'm honestly not sure if I should be relieved or suspicious that they're finally trying.
