Watching a short box give out feels like the final proof that 90s stuff was just built different, and not in a good way. My old VCR ate a tape last month, the plastic handle on my childhood toy chest snapped clean off, and now this. It's like everything from that era hit its expiration date at the same time. Planned obsolescence won, and we're just left holding the pieces, literally.
