Rant: The guy who snubbed my LCS haul at a con in 2019

At Motor City Comic Con a few years back, I stood in line with a longbox of dollar bin finds. A guy behind me saw my stack and laughed, said 'You know those are all filler, right?' I had 20 books, mostly pre-2000s stuff like Rom and Starlord. He kept going, telling me I'd never get the good keys that way. That comment stuck with me longer than any big purchase ever did. Has anyone else had a stranger at a show try to gatekeep what you collect?
