Spent 3 hours hunting down a single comic panel because I misremembered one detail
I fell down a rabbit hole last Saturday trying to find a specific panel for a friend. I swore it was a Batman comic from the 90s where he stands in the rain on a gargoyle. Took me 3 hours and 4 different message boards to figure out it was actually a Daredevil panel, and the rain was just my brain filling in the blanks. I checked maybe 15 issues online, made a post in 2 subreddits, and even dug out my old long boxes from the garage. The worst part is when I finally found it, the art looked nothing like what I had in my head. I felt like a total fool for trusting a memory from when I was 12. Has anyone else ever had a comic memory that was just completely wrong like that?
