That Overhyped Silver Age key issue I finally caved on

I spent 4 years telling everyone that a beat-up copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 wasn't worth the crazy price tags people were asking, even for a reprint. Then I held one in my hands at a con in Detroit last summer and felt the paper quality and the old ink smell, now I get why collectors lose their minds over it. Anyone else have a book they talked smack about until they actually saw one in person?

Realized the same thing about a raw Hulk #181 after holding one at a local shop last month.
