Took me 15 years to realize I was bagging my comics wrong

I used to put every issue in a bag with the flap facing the front cover. Thought it looked cleaner on the shelf. Then last month a guy at my local shop in Denver pointed out I was trapping dust against the art every time. He showed me how the flap should go toward the back so the opening is at the bottom. Felt like an idiot. Anybody else learn basic stuff way later than they should have?

Oh man, isn't that the truth. It's like when you're assembling furniture and the instructions say "insert tab A into slot B" but you've been trying to cram it in backwards for twenty minutes. Or how about when you're cooking and the recipe says "fold in the cheese" but you're just aggressively stirring it like a maniac. We've all been there, fighting the obvious solution because we're too stubborn to read the dang directions. It's almost like life's way of testing our patience, one little "flap to the back" at a time.

Wait @the_mia isn't it more fun figuring it out the hard way though?
