Chose the hard hat mounted light over the hand held one back in 2011 and never went back
Back in 2011 in Port Arthur the sup told me to pick one light for the dock job and I went with the helmet mount over the handheld. Handheld felt wrong straight away, kept losing the beam when I needed both hands on the wrench. The helmet one had a dull spot after 4 months but it stayed put through a whole tide cycle of mud work. Been running some kind of head light ever since, though the new LED ones are a different animal. What are you all running on your lids these days?
