Did a deepwater weld inspection off the coast of Galveston and saw something sketchy with the anode placement

I was out on a job near the Galveston jetties last Tuesday, inspecting a riser at about 90 feet. Noticed the anodes were bolted too close to the weld zones, like within 6 inches. Anyone else run into this on offshore pipelines and have to decide whether to flag it or just let it slide?

Flagging stuff" is better than watching it fail later.

Flagging stuff like that is the kind of thing that separates a good job from a "we'll fix it later" mess. It's like when you see someone park like a jerk in a lot and you just know they cut corners everywhere in their life too.

Parking like a jerk says everything about someone's work ethic honestly lol.
