Always factor in travel time when quoting remote repair jobs.

Ever just add a flat travel fee to cover it? Seems like the only way to not get burned. Traffic is such a wild card.

After getting burned twice, I just add a 30% buffer to every quote now.

Yeah, that "traffic is a wild card" thing from nathanreed is so true. I had a job last month where a two hour drive turned into four because of a surprise road closure and a detour that felt like it went in circles. Completely blew the schedule.
