Wasted $220 on a thermal imaging camera that I barely use now
Bought a FLIR One Pro last spring thinking I'd find all kinds of hidden heat issues in client rigs. Turns out 90% of my jobs are just bad RAM or dying hard drives. The camera sits in my bag collecting dust. Used it twice on real calls, both times the issue was obvious without it. Guess I got caught up in the gadget hype. Anyone else drop cash on a tool that sounded great but ended up being a paperweight?

Ever tried selling it on one of those used tool sites? I did that with a fancy label maker I bought for cable management, got back maybe half of what I paid. Better to cut your losses now than stare at it every time you open your bag.

Is it just me or do we ALL do this with random tools and hobbies, buy something for that one project then it sits there mocking us every time we open the closet? I swear my garage is just a museum of things I was totally gonna use again.
