Appreciation post: my broomed edges stopped tearing out after I finally waited on the finisher
I used to broom right behind the float and got ragged, chipped edges every single pour. My old boss in Fresno made me hold off until the bleed water was gone and the concrete would take a thumbprint, and the bristles cut clean grooves instead of dragging up cream. Anybody else have a set time they watch for before touching the broom?
