Can we talk about choosing between hand and power trowels?

Hand finishing has tradition, but power trowels get the slab flat faster.

Yeah the tradition of hand finishing is why some old-school guys still swear by it.

But modern tools get the job done way faster without losing quality. Sometimes old habits just slow things down for no real reason.

Watch someone with ninety-three hand planes try to build a deck. You'll get a perfect, beautiful, single deck board by the time the crew next door has finished three whole houses (and the coffee break). Speed isn't everything, but neither is collecting antique dust.
