Shoutout to the old guy at the supply yard in Boise who told me to wet my bull float
I was working a big garage slab last summer and this retired finisher watching me said, 'Kid, spray that thing down before you touch the mud.' I thought he was nuts, it was already a hot day. But I tried it on a corner and the concrete just laid down smooth with zero sticking. Saved me a ton of time fighting the drag. Anyone else get a random tip that actually worked?

That "zero sticking" part is the real win.

Oh man, I know that feeling! I finally caved and got a decent non-stick pan last year after burning through so many cheap ones. The first time I made scrambled eggs and they just slid onto the plate, it felt like magic. It honestly makes the whole cooking process less stressful when you're not fighting with the food.

My buddy got one of those pans last month. He made eggs this morning and said they just slid right out, no scraping at all. I'm honestly jealous.
