After seeing that staged moon landing presentation at a conference in Phoenix, I started fact checking everything

Two years ago I went to a history conference in Phoenix where a speaker showed side by side photos of Apollo footage and a soundstage setup from a 60s TV studio. The lighting shadows matched perfectly, he had proof from a retired NASA photographer. I never look at official government footage the same way now. Has anyone else dug into the actual photo negatives from those missions?

Has that retired NASA photographer actually come forward publicly with his name or is it all anonymous hearsay? I've seen the same comparison photos floating around online but no one ever pins down the original source or the photographer's identity. Would love to know if there's a verified chain of custody on those negatives you mentioned.

Why would we assume there's some big cover up when the simplest answer is usually the right one? You know how many retired NASA folks just want to enjoy their peace and quiet without getting dragged into internet drama, @simonk98? I'd be suspicious if someone DID come forward with a perfect paper trail, honestly.
