Dropped $250 on a thermal camera for roof inspections. Game changer.

Bought a FLIR One Pro last fall after missing a leak on a flat roof. Cost me $250 but saved me from guessing where water was hiding. Found three wet spots in ten minutes that I would've walked past. Anyone else use thermal imaging for their work or just for home stuff?

@henryt18 I'd say it depends on how often you're dealing with suspicious spots or moisture claims. That $250 saved me from ripping up a whole section of roof that turned out to be dry, so it paid for itself in time alone. Your mileage may vary, but if you do flat roofs especially, it's a tool that makes you look like a pro.

That thing seriously worth 250 bucks for finding a few wet spots?
