FedEx driver admitted to me they sort packages by 'vibe' not address
I was chatting with my regular FedEx driver last week after he dropped off a box that was clearly for my neighbor three doors down. He laughed and said they don't actually follow the route numbers anymore, they just group stuff by 'what feels right' in the truck. Asked him if that's why I got someone else's mattress last month and he just shrugged. Anyone else had a delivery driver admit something that made you rethink the whole system?

Oh man, that tracks so hard. Last month I watched my UPS guy just toss a random box into my neighbor's minivan while she was backing out. He waved like it was totally fine. I asked him about it later and he said they "go with the flow" on the truck, whatever that means. The whole system is basically a joke at this point. I'm pretty sure my regular driver just guesses based on street names and hopes for the best.

The "felt right" excuse is wild, I totally buy it though.

Ugh seriously. My guy once left a package for "123 Main" at "456 Oak" because he said the numbers "felt right." The package was a computer monitor. It sat on a random porch for three days. I tracked it down myself. They don't care anymore.
