I finally looked up the actual number of planes that went missing before 1945
Was down a rabbit hole on the FAA website last night and found a stat that blew my mind. Way more aircraft disappeared before the Bermuda Triangle stuff got popular than I ever realized. Like hundreds of military flights between 1903 and 1945 that just vanished with no trace. Found a PDF from a retired air force historian that listed 47 major cases just in the Pacific alone. How come nobody talks about that?

Hundreds of planes just disappearing and nobody bats an eye lol.

What about all the radar data that just disappeared along with them? There were ground stations tracking those flights and then nothing, no emergency calls or anything. Isn't it weird that in a world where we track everything, hundreds of planes can just vanish?
