PSA: A guy in my conspiracy Discord faked his own 'leaked doc' and I caught it by checking a date
Last Tuesday in the Conspiracy Debates server, a member dropped a 'leaked 2019 memo' about a water plant in Flint and people went nuts over it. I noticed the doc cited a law that didn't get passed till 2021, so I posted the year and asked him to explain it, and he went quiet for 20 minutes before deleting his whole account. Now the mods made a rule that any doc has to come with a source link, which honestly should have been from day one lol. Does anyone else here check the dates on stuff before they react, or is that just me?

Thats wild that he bailed so fast once you called out the date, real ones always check the timeline first lol. Good catch, dates are like the easiest way to spot a fake and most people skip right past em.
