PSA: My coworker claimed the moon landing was faked and bet me $50, so I timed the Apollo 11 radio delay with a stopwatch in our break room
Not one blip over 1.3 seconds the whole afternoon, exactly what you'd expect from a signal bouncing off the moon. Has anyone else actually tried timing the delay with a cheap watch, or is it just me and my $12 stopwatch from Walmart?

The 1.3 second delay is exactly the right number and you nailed it with a $12 watch. I did the same thing with the NASA livestream audio back in 2019 and got the same result, so your coworker owes you that $50.
