Rant: Folks fixate on big names but skip the paper trail

I noticed in these talks that everyone debates celebrities or politicians. My take is that the real scheming happens with boring stuff like tax laws. Most people dismiss this because it sounds dull, but I've seen small changes add up to big control. We should worry more about the quiet rules than the loud scandals. It's a shift that could save us a lot of trouble.

The 2017 tax bill had a tiny line about pass-through businesses. It let a lot of rich people pay way less tax. I read that it moved billions of dollars to the top. It's wild that this got buried in the news. These little rules are what actually shape things. We focus on scandals but the boring pages hold the real story.

Yeah, that pass-through deduction got a lot of talk in some circles. Read about how it let top earners like doctors and lawyers slash their taxes. They'd set up an LLC and claim the 20% break on business income. The rich got richer while regular wage workers saw no real benefit. It's exactly the kind of boring detail that changes everything. Stuff like that never makes the front page but costs us billions.
