The chemtrail thing finally made sense to me after a weird sky day

I used to just roll my eyes at chemtrail posts. Then last summer I was hiking near Grants Pass and saw these weird crisscrossing trails that just hung there for hours, not fading like normal contrails. My buddy who flies cargo planes explained it's humidity and altitude conditions, not poison. Still feels creepy though. Anyone else have a moment where a conspiracy turned out to be just boring science?

Yeah I had that same feeling watching those trails just hang there. Felt like I was the only one who noticed. Then a buddy who flies small planes out of Medford explained it to me over a beer. I felt pretty stupid but also kind of relieved. Its nice when the boring science turns out to be true.

Oh yeah, that 'just boring science' moment. I had the same thing with the whole 'birds aren't real' thing. For like a week I was side-eyeing every pigeon wondering if it was a government drone. Then my cousin who's a biology nerd just showed me a YouTube video about bird migration patterns and I felt like the dumbest person on the planet. Pretty sure the only thing they're spraying is my dignity when I realize how gullible I can be.

At least the pigeons didn't bill you for the therapy session.
