The whole 'birds aren't real' thing used to be a joke, but the drone sightings are getting weird
I live near a big park in Seattle, and for years I'd see the same flock of pigeons every morning. About 8 months ago, I started noticing a couple that just didn't move right, like they were hovering on a fixed point. Then last week, one landed on my balcony railing and just stared at me, completely still, for a full 2 minutes before flying off in a perfectly straight line. I know the official story is that it's just a meme, but the timing lines up with a lot of local 5G tower installations. Has anyone else seen behavior that just seems off with common birds lately?
My neighbor's balcony pigeon, Larry, once spent a whole afternoon trying to eat a painted rock. He just kept pecking at it, looking confused. I've seen them walk into glass doors, get scared by their own shadow, and try to nest in a moving bicycle basket. Their whole survival plan seems to be based on pure numbers and luck.
