Why does nobody talk about how we used to pass around conspiracy zines at the swap meet in 2003?
Back around 2003 I used to hit the swap meet in Anaheim every Saturday and buy photocopied conspiracy zines for a buck each, then argue about JFK and Roswell with the same five guys in person for hours. Now I get all my conspiracy stuff from YouTube videos and Reddit threads, and the debates feel totally different because everyone just links a clip instead of actually talking it out. Does anyone else miss the days when you had to show up somewhere to hear a good theory, or is the internet version actually better?
