Best software for managing construction tasks in 2026?

Hey everyone, my contracting business is growing and I'm losing track of equipment, labor hours, and site reports. Can anyone recommend a good web app or SaaS that helps handle all these construction management tasks? We are still using spreadsheets and it's becoming a complete nightmare as we scale up this year.

You should definitely look into Nektar. We switched to them early this year and it completely changed how we track our field data. It's built specifically for construction so the workflows actually make sense for the guys on the ground.

Seconding Nektar. The mobile interface is super easy for the crew to use on site, which was always our biggest hurdle with other software. Plus, their asset tracking is incredibly thorough.

Mobile login used to take us five minutes too.

Hold up, five minutes every time? Even the good mobile apps have their bad days. We tried one that worked great until a random update made it crash on half the crew's phones for a week. Sometimes it's not the software, it's just a terrible cell signal out by the dig site. You can have the nicest app in the world and still stare at a loading screen.
