My tablet fell off the lift at 14 feet and I lost 3 hours of punch list on a Friday
Last Friday at our job site over in Fort Wayne, my field tablet slid right off the lift basket at about 14 feet and hit the slab. The screen cracked and the thing wouldn't boot, so I lost 3 hours of punch list photos I'd marked up that morning. We've been trying to go paperless on these units and it's been fine until now, but I had zero backup and the super was not happy. I'm wondering what you all use to keep a tablet from going over the edge, like a real mount or tether, or do you just keep a paper binder as a fallback? Looking for what actually holds up on a lift in the cold.
