Overheard a site manager in Phoenix say they're skipping drone surveys to save cash
He said the budget was tight and they'd just 'eyeball it' from the ground. That's a huge risk for grading and material tracking. Anyone else seen this kind of corner cutting with new tech?

How do you even push back on that without sounding like you're just wasting money? We had a super tight project last year and I made a simple spreadsheet showing the cost of one rework from bad grade data versus the drone survey. Laid it out in black and white for the higher ups. They approved the drone budget real quick after that.

Our rework cost was actually closer to 15k, not 8.

Read a case study that proved your exact point.
