Two years of using a laser level before my coworker pointed out I never checked calibration
Been using this green rotary laser on foundation layouts for maybe 2 years. Last Tuesday my partner asks when I last checked the calibration, and I realized I never even knew that was a thing. Has anyone else found out way too late that a tool needed regular maintenance?

Heard my buddy framed an entire deck using an uncalibrated level.

Found out my tape measure had the first inch missing after measuring a whole house.

Found out my tape measure had the first inch missing" - classic. I once built a whole bookshelf using a level that had a bubble that was stuck on one side. It's not crooked, it's "angry architecture.
